There’s no denying that Jackie from Living After Midnight and I are accessories junkies!  They’re like little treasures, small, shiny and always eye catching!  That’s why this week’s Wear and Share Wednesday’s treasure had to be the mark. Go For The Bold necklace!  This exotic piece really stands on its own which is why Jackie and I both styled an outfit around it.

If you caught my post yesterday I suggested that every working girl wardrobe needs a sleeveless sheer blouse and a pencil skirt.  Here’s another look how that simple combination and some killer jewelry can easily answer the question “what am I going to wear to work today!?!?”  Recreate with an animal print sheer blouse with a solid pencil skirt, I’m wearing the mark. Call It A Tie Blouse with a basic white skirt from Charlotte Russe.  You can look completely put together and fashionable with this formula.  Now just add on the little treasures… like the mark. Go For The Bold necklace ($24)!

Mixing prints with prints is super on trend but hard for me!  I just feel mismatched, but the combination of animal prints in neutral, similar colors is a subtle way to do it.  The Go For The Bold necklace ($24) really compliments this outfit and the shiny gold allows it to stay summery.  To keep things looking light and appropriate for summer I kept my jewelry in the same color family with the Get To The Point Ring ($18 remember from our last wear and share post!?!), Bohemian Rocks Bracelet ( $24), In The Mix Bracelets (in and out of sale in my eBoutique) and a smokey eye in shades of bronze and brown withe mark. i-marks!  All available at my eBoutique.

And what’s a working girl without a great work bag!?!  The mark. Tote The Town Bag ($45 at my eBoutique) has been my go to for work.  It’s HUGE so it holds everything and then some, like your notebook, ipad and lunch!  The linen with faux leather trim keeps the look light and fresh but tailored enough for all your work wear.  Complete the look with a pair of pointed toe pumps in a neutral color, bonus points if they have cutouts like these ones!  I recently unloaded my storage unit and came across a bunch of treasures including these pumps I completely forgot I even owned!  Storage wars, Alicia version (as I’m coining it!) unveiled a lot of awesome finds that completely uplifted my wardrobe (and life!)
