Happy National Fragrance Day!
Happy National Fragrance Day and welcome spring! Because I love both fragrance and spring, so I’m a happy camper today! Fragrance is such a personal thing but that doesn’t mean I can’t share my favorites. In no particular order here are my favorite scents:
Avon Femme ($30 currently on sale for only $15!)
Avon Femme (Sale $15)
Description: It’s your moment to shine. AVON FEMME captivates from day to night. An elegant fragrance with sparkling freshness and opulent florals. Rich jasmine petals and stunning magnolia touched with radiant amberwoods. Luxuriously long-lasting, for hour after hour of beautiful scent. 1.7 fl. oz.
Word Of Alicia: Pretty much all my favorites are wear anytime scents but this one I particularly like in the spring/summer. It has good staying power, and the florals are are balanced really well with a fresh scent. Plus the price is the biggest selling point.
Ralph Lauren Blue ($46-$82)
Ralph Lauren Blue ($46-$82)
Description: Cool and fresh, Blue Eau de Toilette by Ralph Lauren is a soft floral fragrance that melts into the skin with notes of lotus flower, gardenia and pink peony, exotic blossoms such as tuberose, rose de mai and orange flower enriched with musk, ambrette and sandalwood. Notes: Lotus flower, muguet, gardenia, sparkling jasmine accord, pink peony, rose de mai, tuberose, jasmine petals, orange flower, musk, ambrette, sandalwood, mousse de chine, vetiver.
Word Of Alicia: I had no idea this fragrance was so floral until I pulled the details here! This one I became a fan of while working at Elder Beerman Department Store in college and it’s stayed in heavy rotation ever since, and I’ve had A LOT of perfumes since then. It’s really crisp and clean for being such a floral (apparently) scent. Kind of what you associate with a scent from Ralph Lauren!
mark. Instant Vacation Fragrance
mark. Instant Vacation Saint Barts Soleil Fragrance
Description: Each year mark. does a capsule collection inspired by a hot vacation spot and it’s core features a fragrance.
Word Of Alicia: These mark. Instant Vacation scents are my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE! They’re usually an Eau De Toilette so a lighter scent, not as long lasting but that’s usually what you want for a vacation scent. From Ibiza Sol, to the Hamptons, Marrakesh, Saint Barts and more I’ve loved them all! This year’s hot spot is Maui and I’m looking forward to getting my hands on the next one in the collection!
mark. Naked Love Bath and Body ($6-$14)
mark. Naked Love
Description: Fresh and clean in the most amazing way with notes of apricot nectar, white peaches, velvet freesia and skin musk.
Word Of Alicia: I’m lazy, this is no secret. So as much as I love perfume I’m lucky if I actually put it on. That’s why a good fragrant bath and body collection wins out. I’ll pair a shower gel and a good body cream for a more lasting scent and this mark. Naked Love has a great scent. I think the peach and apricot stands out the most, and it has secured the #1 position as favorite away from Lemon Sugar (a close second) in the mark. bath and body core collections.
mark. Windswept Bath and Body ($6-$14 ON SALE $4.50-$11!)
mark. Windswept Bath and Body
Description: Feel the breeze and let your spirit soar with this exhilarating mix of sparkling grapefruit orchid essence and cedarwood
Word Of Alicia: Windswept is a seasonal scent but it’s been my FAVORITE go-to scent since it launched. For me it’s perfect for spring, like a fresh spring breeze. With all bath and body collections layering is key for the scent to last, plus spraying something like the body mist mid day is a good pick me up!
Bath and Body Works Vanilla Bean Noel: ($5-$16.50)
Bath and Body Works Vanilla Bean Noel
Description: Top notes: vanilla, sweet butter cream. Heart: caramel, benzoin, chocolate. Base: soft musk, sugar cookie.
Word Of Alicia: This is another seasonal scent I HAVE to pick up every year from Bath and Body Works. It is the ultimate layering scent. I love it under my perfume, it never seems to clash just add warmth and in winter that’s exactly what I want. I stock up every year.
