Mother’s Day Weekend

For about the first time in 10 year’s I’ll get to celebrate Mother’s Day with my mother!  She’s out visiting so I’m excited to spend some time with her.  She’s where I got my middle name, a bunch of silly phrases (like it’s a horse a piece, or we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it), my skills on folding fitted sheets, my looks, my kindness and patience, my eyeliner skills, and so much more. Happy Mother’s Day Mom!  

If you’re in need for some last minute Mother’s Day gift ideas, a framed picture and flowers never fail!  It could be a favorite oldie, some of your old kindergarden work, or just a great family picture from your last big event, but stop by your local Target/Walmart/Walgreens/etc… get it printed up and pick up a frame.  Another idea is a certificate for a pedicure.  Pair it with a bottle of polish and maybe some flip flops as we are headed into summer.

Casual Friday

Today’s OOTD.  I’m currently crushing on this mark. Luck Of The Drawstring Anorak and Clear Choice Necklace.  Serious must-haves!  (See more of the jacket here.)  Throw it over a black maxi dress add some wedges and casual Friday is done!  Of course Alicia’s casual includes a major blinged out necklace.

Friday Favorite

Closest thing I get to being a mom I guess haha my little Zoey pants this morning enjoying the fresh air and morning sun as she stared out the sliding glass door.
