Did you think I was talking about the Presidential election!? The Trump vs Clinton election is pretty big too, but the real debate is over if leggings are pants!

Against  – You basically can see right through them, and show way too much!  Additionally, wearing them as pants is like a mullet, you have this casual pant trying to be business… nope.

For – They’re super comfy, like you’re lounging around but actually your not… or could be… because they’re super versatile for a lot of outfits and occasions, and they fit inside boots/booties no problem.

The Winner – What it comes down to is that not all leggings are created equal!  Fabric, style and how you wear them make all the difference.

The Item That Will Change Your Mind – mark. Tight Laced Pants

These are my vote for the leggings/pants debate that will have you all for it.  They stand out because they are thick, like real pants thick, so you can wear them without any fear of sunlight or showing off too much.  They have a style to them, the seaming down the front not only elongates legs but creates a more structured look.  Best of all they have this super fun lace up detail in the back that you can wear tight and keep it close or a little looser and show some skin.  Plus the waistband is a nice banded waist so you can wear them with pretty much any top and avoid that clashing styles (mullet) issue.  They’re just as versatile as any other legging… except maybe you wouldn’t want to wear these to work out in, but chasing after a toddler workout is totally functional in these.  You could also wear them with a t-shirt and sneakers for a casual look or like I did with a split back lace top.  Either way these mark. Tight Laced Pants are the right choice!
