Nailed It – Instant Vacation Marrakesh

I already  introduced you to the limited edition Marrakesh beauty collection but I left out one major beauty component, the nail polish!!!  Of course this is my favorite, the Nailed It Trend Marrakesh Mini Nail Lacquers.  With nails being the hottest trend around, these gorgeous shades of Marrakesh take yours to an exotic new place! Saffron, a glistening warm gold, will add spice to your look while mint tea, a lush, shimmering green, warms up any ensemble.

What I love the most about this duo set is they are mini’s, only 0.09 fl. oz. each so for a small price ($7) you get just enough to last you a season then on to the next trend.  I HATE wasting polish and this is the perfect amount.  AND in coordinating shades your mani pedi setup is already figured out or do what I did and wear the coordinating shades together.  I wore the gold shade on my thumb, pointer and pinky then the green shade on my ring and middle then freehanded a stripe of gold on top of the green.  The mini brush make it super easy.

How awesome does the Stack and Style Ring ($18) look with this polish!?!  I love how expertly coordinated the Marrakesh collection is!  You can shop the ring, polish and the rest of the Marrakesh collection at my eBoutique:  http://www.youravon.com/aliciahessinger

Go Green This Holiday

Red and green are the official holiday colors, with red getting the major push usually, but this year why not switch things up and GO GREEN!  Pantone just released the IT color for 2012 and it’s emerald green!  Totally jump on the trend a month early and show everyone what’s up!  I’m going to be honest, I’m not a huge fan of green, but of all the shades emerald is my favorite and most opulent!  So I need to work my green in with small doses… enter in nails and accessories!

Essie Stylenomics with Julep Oscar Accent

Essie Stylenomics with Julep Oscar Accent

Pairing gold with the green take the opulence to the next level!  Essie Sytlenomics is a green so deep its almost black which works great for someone like me who isn’t 100% on green nails.  Julep Oscar is the perfect gold to add some glimmer.  And I just enjoy the name Stylenomics… its like you take my college major, Economics and put it with something I like, Style and you get this!!!  It’s the small things in life 🙂

The killer ring and green bracelet trio are from mark.  They add just enough green to be eye catching and glimmer with the gold to be holiday-tastic!  I can not stop wearing these pieces!  You can shop the Serious Rock Ring and Sparks Fly bracelet set at http://ahessinger.mymarkstore.com

St. Patrick’s Day Nails

Well, pre-St. Patrick’s Day nails…  All week I’ve been sporting Essie’s Absolutely Shore with an accent nail of Essie Turquoise & Caicos.  I told you its one of my ALL TIME favorite shades!

Mani with my mark. ring too! (of course)

Let’s just pretend that’s an Irish coffee in there, when really it’s a chai.  I’ve really been obsessing over mint green so the pastel hue of Absolutely Shore has been perfect this week for my mood.  And since it’s been raining all week its instant happiness!

I have grand plans of changing this mani to Essie’s Pretty Edgy, a super bright kelly green, with some gold konad stamping but we’ll see how busy I get between now and tomorrow!  I’ll keep ya posted 😉
