Once August hits I always feel like I haven’t done anything all summer and I need to fit it all in within the next few weeks! Which means I’m all over the place during August, hence Wanderlust August!

First feature for the month is Denio’s Farmer Market in Roseville, CA. A favorite for a Sunday activity! We might always get confused on how to get there but once there we spend the day wandering around the booths.

Our plan of action is start from the back and work your way to the front. In the back is where all the “garage sale/flea market” booths are at. In the middle are your more legit stands that carry the same things, like 2/$10 sunglasses or the booth with every possible carabiner/gadget/tool you could think of. Then at the front is my favorite, the fresh farmers market with local farmers. Concession stands are littered throughout for your energizing corn dog stop.

Besides walking out with bags full of fruit and veggies at the best prices in town we also ALWAYS get flavored pistachios and dried mangos with chili powder. Not a bad way to spend a Sunday!
