My #tahoeweddingfestHD (aka wedding weekend) went by too fast but at least it can live forever in memories and pictures!  One of my favorite parts of the weekend was the Friday before my sister organized a day at the nail salon with the maides!  We were able to relax, talk and enjoy some time together before the rehearsal later that night and get the ultimate mani, my wedding nails!

I knew I wanted to do a classic red mani for my wedding but it needed to be a fall red to go with the rest of my details.  While planning the invites my sister and I thought it would be a good idea to include a bottle of nail polish so I picked out Avon Speed Dry Polish in Red Wine and not only was it super cute for the invites it was also the perfect fall red for wedding manis and pedis!

Since we all like a good party, my sister glittered up some champagne bottles (and sparkling cider for me and my prego Caroline!), brought some cheese and crackers and chocolate covered strawberries to make our salon trip a #tahoeweddingfestHD pre wedding party!

Like with any good party you need a good party dress and my red lace dress from eShakti was a crowd favorite! eShakti approached me if I was interested in trying them out and I have heard of them from Jackie at Living After Midnight but I guess I didn’t really get it.  They let you customize your dress!  Coming from a girl who’s 5 foot nothing with curves this means EVERYTHING!  Start with picking your dress (or more realistically your shell).  Then you can adjust the neckline, sleeves, hem, etc to match not only the look you’re going for but how you want it to fit.  I personally like lower necklines and I wanted longer sleeves (since I was in the cooler temps) so I selected to change my dress to have a deep V neckline and 3/4th sleeves.  I then entered in my height so the length of the dress hit me where it was actually suppose to not below the knee like most off the rack dresses do.  You could also enter in your exact measurements if you like, but I just went with my general sizing.

With eShakti I got the exact dress I wanted and didn’t have to just deal with it being 90% there.  This is the greatest idea ever!  Check them out you won’t be disappointed.  My red lace dress was the perfect fit not just size wise but also for my theme and my bridal mani/pedi party!  OH and did I mention it had pockets, any dress with pockets is a winner!  The day couldn’t of gone better thanks to eShakti and my sister for planning the perfect Bridal Mani/Pedi Party!!!
