When I’m uninspired on what mani I want to do I usually lean towards pinks and reds.  Maybe it’s because of my pink undertones, but they always look legit.  In the summer I want a fun and bright mani so why no mix it up with pinks and black and white stripes!  So I did, and I love it!  The perfect summer mixed mani!

For my base I used Avon Ridge Filling Base coat on all 10 digits.  On my pinkie and middle I used Avon Nail Wear Pro in Viva Pink (last seen here) followed by Avon Gel Finish Top Coat.  For those black and white stripes on my ring and thumb I used Jamberry Black and White Stripe wrap and for the chevron pink accent on my pointer I used Jamberry Sorbet wrap.

For summer this mani makes me happy, actually I’d rock this year round.  For me doing my nails is my happy place.  The process is sort of mindless that allows me to do whatever I want on those 10 fingers of mine.  When I look down and see my happy new mani I feel happy and content even if it is just for a few seconds until the next fire pops up I have to put out.  I can escape all the yuck by just doing my nails, silly or not, it’s the small things in life like this that work for me!  You can shop this Avon Viva Pink at my estore and Jamberry here.
