Hello August!  Hello birthday month!  Which means another year older, another year wiser.  As I’ve become older and wiser I’ve learned what you need to do to adjust your skincare for the summer.

Not only does this dynamic duo provide me extra SPF protection and healing at night it also moisturizes my skin extremely well without being too thick and tacky for the summer months.  It absorbs so quickly. It also brightens and clarifies.  This is a good duo for any age or skin type for a summer skincare switch up.

Anew Clean: 

To prep my skin for Skinvincible I’ve been using my Anew Clean.  I just replaced the brush heads on my Anew Clean Cleansing Brush that I use with the Anew Clean Illuminating Rich Cleansing Foam.  You know it’s good when a pea sized amount gets off all that summer waterproof makeup and cleans your brush so none of that mascara is left on it!

Word On Body:

I still use Skin So Soft Triple Phase Oil everyday immediately after I shower, while I’m still wet.  Once I pat dry, I use a body lotion/skin softer vs a thick body cream like I use most of the year.  A lighter version is better when hot temps have me sweating.  Lately I’ve been using the Avon Skin Softener in Haiku Reflections.  This is thicker than a lotion but lighter than a cream, right in the middle, perfect for summer, moisturizing and scented in Haiku Reflections my new summer scent!
