Happy Labor Day ’23! Labor Day is always a little bitter sweet… the unofficial end of summer and a 3 day weekend that we rarely have plans for. But I’m kinda ok with doing nothing and looking fwd to a new season. Labor Day is also my California-versary, making it 18yrs this Sept 2023. It’s been a rough 2023 I’m not going to lie, but you know what gives a little light? Week O’Nautical! My loosely nautical twist on red white and blue. So, as we close out the summer season, another yr round the sun, and another yr in CA, here’s my recap on 2023’s Week O’Nautical looks.

4th of July ’23 was spent at our friend’s annual bbq, but you know I was wearing red white and blue all July!

Memorial Day, the unofficial start of summer was kicked off with our new pup Pickles, a new car (the ultimate MDW sale), and a pool party. Been… and still… working on that sunmer bod so I had to theme out my workout gear too!

2023 was also the experiment into curtain bangs, which didn’t really work out as planned. One life lesson I took from it, was nothing’s permanent. Try, fail, try again, adapt, and always go back to what makes you happy. And that’s my word on Labor Day 2023.
