Today’s the last day of the mark. Fierce Fashion Sale and let me tell you the pieces are well worth their killer sale prices!  Seriously, for under $30 bucks I got a dress, a necklace, 3 pairs of earrings and a bracelet, tell me where else you can score that!  And we’re not talking f21 here, this stuff is gorge!  Including the limited edition pieces Meredith Kahn created for mark. AMAZING!

From the Fierce Fashion Sale I picked up the Noir Star dress for $10.99 and I’m LOVING its versatility.  Can be made professional for work or fun for night.  The material is silky and slinky and from the moment I put it on I just felt pretty in it.

FOR NIGHT:

The dress has a bit of an Old Hollywood appeal to it.  It’s a loose fitting draping dress.  To play up on this I added the mark. hair pin from last holiday season worn as a broach right where the drapes meet.  You could recreate this with any sparkly pin or clip.  Black faceted bracelet and dangly earrings were my pic from the Fierce Fashion Sale.  It kept the look modern but still old hollywood.  I would ideally do some retro curls with this look too!

FOR WORK:

To make it day appropriate I belted the dress to make it look more like a blouse and top with a black patent belt.  I wore the Meredith Kahn accessories, the Enamored Bracelet ($3.99) and the matching Tower Earrings ($2.99).  I also moved that hairpin from my dress to my messy bun to keep with the style.  Some nude pumps and I was set!
