Sometimes, its the all about the details. A look just isn’t complete without the right accessories, and a mani is definitely considered an accessory in Jackie from Living After Midnight and mine’s world. So this week, for our Wear and Share Wednesday, we bring to you an expertly detailed cocktail ring, mark. Get To The Point Ring and a mani to match! Don’t you just love how Jackie paired it with cool blue and gold!?! I love this look for a summer night out. To see her full details check out Living After Midnight.

The Get To The Point Ring ($18) just launched at my eBoutique and it is jaw droppingly fun! It’s all in its detailing! The gold base is more of a warm gold that leans rosegold. The pinnacle of glam, this eye-popping pyramid stud features alternating rows of clear and hematite-colored glass rhinestones. The perfect statement ring to mix your metals and make a hot summer accessory look. To mix my metals I went with the In The Mix Bracelet set (in and out of sale at my eBoutique). There’s just something about shades of gold in the summer. Which is why I did a glimmering gold mani to match!

For my mani I used the mark. Nailed It Mini Nail Lacquer Duo in Saffron and Mint Tea. I used Saffron (metallic gold shade) as my base on every finger except my middle. On my middle I used Mint Tea (metallic green with gold shimmer) and used that same Mint Tea to freehand the cross on my pointer. For my ring I layered Julep Oscar (glimmering gold glitter) over Saffron. You can get the Nailed It Duo here and the Julep Oscar here.

These might only be details, but they definitely complete my total look. I just don’t feel done unless my nails are done. The last few months my nails have been HORRIBLE, they keep breaking, peeling and my cuticles, don’t even get me started… so I’m officially in S.O.S. mode! After 15 years of squaring off my nails and I made the rash decision to try and save my nails and go almond! Change, while not always welcomed, is necessary, because of the peeling I had to select this shape, which is very on trend, but on my short to mid natural nails, not quite ideal in my eyes. Which is why I’m also starting today a 4 week marathon treatment to try to get them longer, stronger and healthier! Follow me each week to see if I can actually make it happen… all in time for my birthday! 😉

Come back to see the full details of my S.O.S. Save My Nails 4 week plan to restore my nails. With each week I’ll have a progress post and update on the new almond shaped nails. I personally think almond shaped nails need to be longer, like on Rihianna, the almond nailspiration queen! So let’s see if we can get mine there!

Will you be featuring the new mark bag (downloaded style bag)–thanks
I don’t own it or at least yet! If I get it I’ll be sure to review and if I see a review out there I’ll pass your way. Sugarlaws did feature it here: http://shop.meetmark.com/product_list.aspx?pdept_id=757&dept_id=758
