That Miss. Monroe knew a few things or two.  I swear if I have on a bad pair of shoes my day is miserable, but the right pair and the possibilities are endless!  Which is why Jackie from Living After Midnight and I styled 2 outfits around one pair of killer mark. shoes, the Tough Luxe Booties!  I would say half the time I start my outfit with the shoes.  My day dictates what shoes I’m wearing… ones I need to walk all day in, ones that just need to look pretty as I sit at my desk or ones that I need to need a little bit of both!  The mark. The Tough Luxe Booties ($50 at http://www.youravon.com/aliciahessinger) are the perfect mix between functional and fun.  The gold accents and 4 1/4” heel (with 1/2″ platform) gives them the right amount of luxe and the easy round toe and coloring keep them casual.  Let’s not forget that they’re super comfy and super easy to walk in!  Granted I’m really a size 5 and these are 6’s but with some heel grips these are good to go… so that means half sizes, order up!

It was super easy to plan an outfit around these booties.  As the season transitions I love pairing a boot or bootie with shorts!  The weather is still super hot here in Nor Cal so wearing an easy bootie at least makes me feel a little fall while still keeping cool.  Now for wearing a blazer… not so much!  However it works for chilly ac and cooling nights.  I’m wearing the mark. White On Blazer (NOW $21.99 originally $48!  Talk about a steal!!!)

I loved all white outfits for summer but for transitioning into fall had to switch up the fabrics, styles and accessories.  By mixing up the shades of white, like the more creamy texture to the White On Time Blazer, it gave the outfit some dimension.  Gold always looks sharp against white and why not play up the gold on the Tough Luxe Booties!?!  I’m wearing the pyramid studs from the mark. Because it still is so hot here throwing on some booties definitely is an easy way to take on the fall trends, and so is changing up your bag.  That’s why I love this mark. Taupe Of The Line Bag ($75), its fall friendly taupe color goes with everything, even those summer neons I’m not quite done with and with my all white outfit here.  This bag is also real suede, and super soft suede at that!  Adding in rich textures for fall like suede is an easy way to bring on fall.
