We definitely had some April showers this weekend, which I wasn’t hating on. It gave me a chance to depart from my LBD and wear some seriously comfy casual pieces this week.
As the girl scouts say, always be prepared. I definitely came prepared with my rain gear and layered essentials. I paired really comfy black jeggings (Express) with this (old) mark. layered sweatshirt, layered with this (old) mark. anorak. What better way to be prepared than with some Hunters and a cute umbrella from Kate Spade!? Sidenote on Hunters: I hate to say it, they’re actually worth the price. They’re seriously the most comfortable functional shoe I own, and keep you dry without freezing your feet.
What would life be without a little glam? All I needed to glam up such a casual outfit is the mark. Clear Choice Necklace. It’s mix of howlite, pink and blue stones on a clear base added the perfect touch! I’m seriously obsessing over this necklace! I finally bit the bullet and ordered it, seriously worth it!

thank you so much! i use a variety of cameras, it’s based on whats going on that day. some days (like this one) it’s just my cell because it was just in the moment, which by the way the samsung s5’s camera is really crappy. sometimes when i really plan i’ll use my nikon slr, other days it’s just a crappy old sony point and shoot that easily fits in my purse so i have it on me all the time. key is natural lighting 🙂
