My little black dress week is still going strong with a little makeup Monday!  We already know the power in wearing a LBD, but what about the little black dress of makeup?  To me the LBD of makeup is the classic winged eyeliner look.  It works on everyone, in pretty much every situation, day or night.  That’s pretty much my go to all the time but especially for this week.  Here’s what’s been in my makeup bag this week that compliments the power of a little black dress:

A classic precise lined eye in a super black liquid liner is the LBD of makeup.  Wing it out if you can or not, either way this Avon Super Extend Precise Liquid Liner is what to use.  It’s been my go-to lately.  Only downfall is the cap, it likes to come off but the payoff is worth the design flaw.  Additionally for the eyes I’ve been just using the Avon True Color Quad in Mocha Latte or I’ve been using mark. Touch and Glow in coral (gold shade:  top row far right) all over the lid.

On my lashes I’ve been using the NEW Avon Big and Multiplied, the newest addition to Avon’s “Big and…” family.  This new mascara claims:  “Our first triple-threat mascara: detangling + serious seperation + head-turning volume! For the ultimate look in lash fullness. For the face I start with Avon MagicfX primer then conceal and correct with my Avon Extra Lasting Concealer in Medium.  Then I’ll bronze and chisel out my cheekbones with Benefit Hula Bronzer.  For blush I’ll use my mark. Touch and Glow in Coral all swirled together and applied to the apples.  I follow everything up with Elf Tone Correcting Powder.

For early spring I think a touch of coral and reds really compliment an otherwise very basic face for a look that is perfect for all your little black dress looks! During the day it works well for work and then amp it up at night with a red lip or a bold lipstick of your choice.  I’ve been loving mark. All Butter Lip Treat in Fired Up (worn here) or new Avon Perfectly Matte in Coral Fever (see here).
