If the world of Alicia was the internet then #maui would totally be trending.  I’m all about Maui for two major reasons right now;  1.  mark. Instant Vacation Maui Bliss capsule collection release and 2.  Maui was the best vacation to date I’ve ever taken and I seriously could use that right now.  However, there’s no Maui in my immediate future so I guess I’ll just have to instantly be transported there with this new mark. collection worked into my everyday!  Every year mark. releases a capsule collection based of a vacation destination, this year it’s Maui!  So let’s take a peek at some must haves from the collection and must haves to hit up in Maui!

About the mark. Instant Vacation Maui:  It’s the island that has you at hello! The Pacific surrounds you and fun is all around. When your’e not in a bikini (or snorkeling gear!), cue up cute shorts and a tee. Heading out to view the vibrant yellow hibiscus and towering bird of paradise Maui is known for? Avoid tan lines by going off-the-shoulder. And if there’s a chance your day will stretch into night, dress for both in a maxi with an irresistible island vibe!

Maui Must Have:  Early evening beachfront drinks:  “followed by dinner and a little live music on bustling Front Street in Lahaina – this maxi’s just what you need to make waves at both places.”  Front street in Lahaina is definitely where the night life is, happy hour and the sun sets, what’s better than that!  A tropical print maxi is the PERFECT outfit for that.  Also would be my pick on what to wear for a luau in Lahaina.

It all starts with a scent:  “Get whisked away to a paradise island with this Hawaiian-inspired blend of reforesting coconut water, exotic hibiscus and rich glowing amber.”  Seriously, this scent does capture the tropical paradise and warm sun!

Maui Must Have:  Early morning walk along Ka’Anapali beach:  “cute and comfy shorts and a tropical-flavored tee are the right balance of easy and breezy.  The sandals are adorable – even if they don’t stay on your feet”  I totally agree that easy to wear separates that are light and breeze are the best thing to pack for your typical beach days… and if you’re not in Maui, sounds about right for lazy summer days.

Maui Must Have:  The epic drive from Kahului to Hana:  “on the Hana Highway is an absolute Maui must.  Wear a dress that’s both comfy in the car and cute enough to steal some attention from the jaw-dropping scenery when you jump out to ooh and awe.”  The scenic drive to Hana was definitely a favorite thing to do in Maui and this look totally would fit the bill.  You could even wear your suit underneath because every day on Maui I found myself in the ocean some how.  It’s crazy how as you climb up in elevation how the weather changes so a dress like this is both cool, comfortable and functional!

That’s Beachy and a good sun hat  with the Ray Of Sunshine Beach Hat and you’re all set for Maui.

Maui Must Have:  Wai’anapanapa State Park.  The black sand beach on Maui is just way too cool not to go see.  I loved the contrast of the bright blue water and black sand, plus there’s fun little spots and cool cliffs to get a great view.  We hiked a long the coast a bit and it was just breathtaking!
