The call me mellow yellow… or melon…either way Avon True Color Nourishing Lipstick in Mellow Melon is my crush for the week.  Avon recently launched their new Avon True Color Nourishing Lipstick line to replace Ultra Color Absolute (my favorite) so I decided to pick one up.  I got the Mellow Melon shade to replace my melon shade in the Ultra Color Absolute line.

Word On Mellow Melon:  At first I thought my winter skin could not pull this shade off and was thinking I had to save it for summer, however with the right blouse and some good blush I proved myself wrong.  I’ve been wearing this shade pretty much all week and I don’t see it stopping when the week ends.  I think it will be even better when I have a tan.   It’s an excellent melon color replacement for my old melon shade.  As far as the formula it is extremely nourishing like a balm, not as shiny as the Ultra Color Absolute Line, more of a creamy finish.  These are only $5.99 so I ABSOLUTELY will be buying more shades, next on my list Berry Sangria!
