Week O’Nautical – White As A Sail

With the 4th falling on a Wednesday it really makes working on a Tuesday tough!  Helping me get through it is my Tuesday nautical look that pulls double duty!  A crisp lwd for work translating into play for some pre-4th activities.

This little white dress is a stiff cotton, somewhat reminiscent of a sail to me, which makes it automatically nautical.  It’s old from BeBe but you can recreate the look with a white full skirt and a white scoop neck tee tied off with a satin ribbon as a belt.  Then finish it off with nautical accessories!  You know how i mentioned I got that rope necklace in blue too in yesterday’s post, well here it is!  Doesn’t it just make this outfit nautical!  My other accessories include my new FAVORITE bag, the For Shore Bag from mark.  Its huge but lays well and perfect for summer in white with shiny gold accents, which also add to my nautical feel.  Also from mark. there’s of course my go to Borrowed From The Boys watch, Pretty Stellar Ring and Heat Wave Hoops (blue pair).  The shell bracelet is old from Cookie Lee.  This is one of those times I wish my patent red peeptoe pumps weren’t in desperate need of the cobbler, so instead I wore my light grey peeptoes with bright red toes by Essie in Too Too Hot!  The perfect summer red from last years summer collection by Essie.

You can actually see my earrings here, which can I say, these Heat Wave Hoops Set from mark. have been my summer go to!  They make a t-shirt and shorts instantly put together!  My camera isn’t great for representing my makeup look but went with bronzy cheeks, navy eyes and coral lips!

For face I used Bronze Pro and Touch and Glow Shimmer Cubes from mark.

For my eyes I used the Mini Mark. It Stick in Pink Opal from mark. as my base.  In my crease I used a matte navy shade from Revlon… BUT mark. is coming out with a whole slew of new i-mark shades including a matte navy!  Starting July 13th you’ll be able to get them early through me… so stay tuned!  I then lined my upper lashes with No Place To Run in Indigo followed with a thin line of liquid liner, Get In Line in Painted Black.  Curled my lashes with the mark. eyelash curler and Lash All You Want mascara.

For my lips I used Glow Baby Blow hook up lipgloss in m.powerment peach, which is currently on clearance at my eboutique for only $1.99!!!
