I’ve been seeing the quilted leather trend everywhere this fall from Express to Nordstroms to H&M and definitely from mark. in the mark. Oh Couture Bag ($38)! With such an on trend item we had to choose it for our Wear and Share Wednesday! And it shouldn’t be that much of a surprise, you’ve already seen it on myself (here) and on Jackie from Living After Midnight (here) in previous posts, but this week we decided to let it take the feature and plan a whole outfit around it. Don’t you love Jackie pairing it with plaid, looks so equestrian and classic!

What goes better with a quilted leather handbag than a quilted leather skirt!?! This mini skirt from Express couldn’t be more perfect, complete with its gold zipper details. To make the skirt a little more day appropriate I paired it with a sheer blouse, the mark. Sheer Me Out Blouse, tights with some fun detailing with the mark. A Bit Lacey Tights, and tons of black and gold accents with my jewelry and heels! Obviously, my black and gold obsession isn’t dying out.

So where would you wear an outfit like this? How about to Thanksgiving! I like the fun and edge the leather provides (or in my case the faux leather) then add some conservative with lady like details and design. It can meet the parents, impress people you haven’t seen in a long time, and go out on the town on a cold November night for the Thanksgiving Eve! For my “What To Wear To Thanksgiving” look #4 I’m loving this black and gold look! Check out look #1, look #2 and look #3.

Check out the details on this mark. Sheer Me Out Blouse ($28 at http://www.youravon.com/aliciahessinger). At first I wasn’t sure I was going to like the throwback style but once I saw how they updated it with a modern faux leather cutout collar, gold buttons and lace down the front I was in love. Plus the fit is flattering and modern so the retro styling just works. This is one of those must-haves you should have in your wardrobe especially for the holiday season! You’ll just throw it on add some bling and be DONE!

With all the detailing on this look I didn’t really need much BUT I did, its black and white simplistic base really allowed the accessories to pop! I just kept it all in the same family, shimming gold! I stacked my arm party with bangles including the new mark. Antiqued Chic Bracelet and topped it off with my mani with the mark. Nailed It Duo in Tuxedo and Gleam Scene ($7 at http://www.youravon.com/aliciahessinger). I’m so in love with our last wear and share item, the mark. Go Baroque Necklace ($45 at http://www.youravon.com/aliciahessinger) that I wore it once again. I mean its the ULTIMATE holiday necklace.

Tights are my best friend this time of year. They keep me warm on cold November nights and allow wearing a mini skirt to be more functional. I have quite a collection but none impress me more than the mark. tights over the years. The quality is TOP KNOTCH and so is the style. Just check out these mark. A Bit Lacy Tights ($22 at http://www.youravon.com/aliciahessinger)! Most the leg is opaque with a slight pinstripe (as seen in the detailed pic above) but it has this bit of lace cutout trailing down the back of the leg to make them a stunner!

With these mark. A Bit Lacy Tights you’ll be making an entrance from the front and the back! And let’s talk those heels! Can you get a better holiday pump than the mark. SoPumped Heels ($60 at http://www.youravon.com/aliciahesinger) ? Real suede, platform, gold rivet detailing, cutouts and a mega gold heel!

Since I got this mark. Oh Couture Handbag I’ve been using it non-stop as my everyday bag. It holds a lot without being a huge bulky bag. It goes with everything from work to play and looks really more luxe than the $38 price tag would suggest. This has to be one of my favorite handbags ever, like in my life ever. It’s that good, making it easy to plan a whole outfit around it. You can shop my look including the mark. Oh Couture Handbag, mark. Sheer Me Out Blouse, mark. Go Baroque Necklace, mark. Antique Chic Bracelet, mark. A Bit Lacy Tights and the mark. So Pumped Heels at my eBoutique (http://www.youravon.com/aliciahessinger)

PS. A little Thanksgiving note of thanks to all the beauty out there. While I was taking these pics these guys were just chilling enjoying the fall day. It made me happy for all the beautiful fall foliage and the everyday beauty we see. I’m also thankful for my sister who let me use her beautiful landscape as a backdrop! She does more for me than I ever seem thankful for but I’m grateful!

It is a nice bag.
Definitely one of the favorites!!!
