Let’s get back in the swing of things with Wear And Share Wednesday with Living After Midnite! This week Jackie and I picked the mark. Get In the Swing Skirt ($40) a blush toned, faux leather skater skirt! If that’s not 3 major spring trends rolled up all into one killer spring skirt then I don’t know what is!

The mark. Get In The Swing Skirt offers a basic with interest that you can build many looks around. I mean just look how Jackie from Living After Midnite paired hers with a fuzzy sweater and pumps for a sweet look. After I saw Lucy Hale sport it in the mark. magalog I knew I wanted to re-create her look with the mark. Butterfly Bliss Tank ($20), mark. Rebel Chic Moto Jacket ($65) and mark. Bold Moves Bootie ($40). Sidenote, how did I not have a black leather jacket in my wardrobe before!?! Regardless this mark. Rebel Chic Moto Jacket is PERFECT! The fit is impeccable and its not cropped so the small of my back doesn’t get cold!

Pairing a faux-leather blush skirt with more faux-leather seems almost like it would be too much, but because of the neutral tone of the skirt they actually pair really nice together. Putting a burnt-out style graphic tank underneath helps break up the faux-leather and keeps the look simple and cool. Lucy Hale was quoted calling this outfit “fiercely feminine” which I think sums it up perfectly!

To accessorize I just added the mark. All In Good Time Watch ($40), mark.Mighty Pretty m.Powerment Bracelet ($25) and a vintage mark. bracelet the Set In Stones bracelet. (keep an eye out for it in the sale section!). Pop on a bright poppy lip shade with the mark. Make It Rich Lip Crayon in Poppy and I’ve got myself a feminine but edgy spring look!

If you’re hesitant in wearing a faux-leather skirt then getting one in a skater/swing cut and a neutral blush tone is an easy way to wear the trend without being too look at me! Nothing about this says hooker like you mind might automatically go to when you hear faux-leather skirt. Added bonus its not too short either! You can shop the mark. Get In The Swing Skirt ($40) at http://www.youravon.com/aliciahessinger along with the rest of my outfit! (tank, jacket, booties, bracelet, watch and lip color!) It’s a one stop shop for a majorly killer outfit! Be sure to check out the details of Jackie’s look over at Living After Midnite!

I’ve been debating whether to get the jacket for spring. Is that belt part across the bottom/ front annoying to tie and untie every time?
Not necessarily a pain, but it does look better buckled. However the fit is so perfect, and I love the touch of sparkle in the inside collar, its the jacket I’ve been searching for! Even though its faux leather its actually a pretty good price for the quality and design!
