My favorite nautical looks are anchored in crisp white and contrasting navy. As we countdown to the unofficial start of summer, wearing all white seems more than fitting! As the image of white sails and navy blue waters sail through my head, white linen is the perfect fabric to exemplify nautical influences in today’s Week O’Nautical look!

You might think linen is hard to wear, but you have to appreciate the fabric. It’s made to be wearable and breathable and the wrinkles are part of its characteristics, so embrace the wrinkles. In hot Northern California you can really appreciate the function of linen and more importantly the comfort. This white linen suit from Guess is one of my traveling go to’s. Comfortable, you can move around in it, and it wares off the chill while also breathing as the sun heats up. You can mix and match the pieces, making it extremely versatile.

To make my white linen nautical I anchored it with a navy Bra Cami from Express and crisp white fedora with navy striped band from Loft. Navy jewelry from mark. I was inspired by these two pins (pin1, pin2), pinned to my Week O’Nautical board. Follow my board for more nautical influenced looks and eye candy!

This outfit makes me feel like singing, “At the Copa, Copacabana. The hottest spot north of Havana. At the Copa, Copacabana music and passion were always the fashion. At the Copa….they fell in love” So if your planning a little havana-esq getaway, or be influenced by it, make sure you pack (or wear) some white linen.
