My hunt for a plain white tee is over. And so is my hunt for navy, yellow and taupe because I just picked up the Avon Tissue Tee 4 Pack and my spring basics issue has instantly been resolved… or at least as far as tees go.

I was a little iffy on if these were going to be the it ones, but after a few wears I’m more than pleased with my purchase.  Which, by the way, is only $24.99 for the 4 pack making each one about $6.25… how could you not take a chance!?  Here’s what I like: they’re super versatile work for dressing up or down.  They have a long hem so they look modern and flatter.  They are light weight and have a bit of a burnout so they don’t look stiff or bulky.  I would of preferred a little deeper of a v-neck but that is not at all a deal breaker.  Actually they line up perfectly with my mark. Fine Lines Lariat Necklace which I always struggle to find a top it lays well with, because, well you know…

As far as your spring basics, this kind of tee is exactly what any wardrobe needs.  For a more casual day at the office I paired my white one with a pair of Express Columnist ankle pants and a colored heel (Nine West).  I was inspired by the pin I featured on Tuesday… now I just need myself some red fringed sandals!
