If the world of Alicia was the internet inspo for September would totally be trending!  September for me is always a love/hate relationship.  I LOVE August, summer, hot temps and long days.  September is the start to the end of all of that… but also the start of more things I love, Penn State football, all football, apple hill (for my nor cal’ers) and all the fun events in September.  Luckily it’s still summer hot here and we technically have a few weeks left of summer so here’s what’s inspiring me for September!

Color Pallet

This month I’m really feeling all shades of blues, especially navy, camels and nudes, red and burgundy with a bit of neutral blush tones and light greys.  Think very collegiate shades.

Mad For Plaid

Just as inspiring as a color pallet I always have a print I gravitate toward.  September it’s always plaid and menswear fabric inspired prints.

September Beauty

I saw this pic of Lauren for her September LC Lauren Conrad Collection ad and I immediately was smitten.  This is what September beauty is about, flawless skin, a light and bright eye with a classic wing liner, full lashes and a bright but deep berry lip.  I already use her staple eyeliner, mark. On The Edge Liquid Liner and I think I can find a similar lip shade!

Apple Everything

If pumpkin everything is the motto for October then apple everything is the inspo for September!  I’ll be sure to make my favorite apple crisp, take a visit to Apple Hill and light a few of my favorite apple scented candles this month.  I totally like apple flavors way more than pumpkin!
