Word of Alicia:  If you loved the mark. liquid shadows of yesteryear (mark. all time eye, see here) then you’ll love these!  Like me, I loved those mark ones especially in the summer for an eye that’s not overdone.  The formula is better, no creasing and stays all day, double the size and they’re glittery!  These aren’t quite on the same level as the Stila ones but those are $22 a pop and these are $5.99, so you do the math.  I picked up 4 shades, Rose Gold, Fool’s Gold, Jade and Peach Sapphire, all 4 I’m loving.  So much that I ordered two more shades!

How I’m Wearing the Glimmershadows:  After playing around with these new releases, I found my favorite way to apply them.  Because these are such a strong formula, I don’t need an eye primer, I start with using the doe foot applicator straight on the lid, all over, staying below the crease and running under my lower lash line as well.  I let those set, and curl my lashes with an eyelash curler.  Then, using a fluffy eyeshadow brush, I run a taupe shade in my crease and outer v (as you would a transition shade).  I then use a white eyeshadow on my inner corner and brow bone to brighten the eye.  Finish it of with my go-to cat eye liner, and a coat of black mascara.  I’ve literally done this with each of the 4 shades and it slay’s all day!  They look put together, and make my eyes pop!
