Happy First Day of Spring!  And just like that, as we hit the daylight savings day switch, it feels like spring.  The cold and rain here seems to of given way for some warm sun this week and those longer days feel so nice and energetic! But with spring comes spring fashion that needs to be just as energetic but also functional, as the afternoon sun warms things the cold night still keep things chilly.  So I’m following the blue print for spring fashion:  spring layers.

So is mark.’s spring fashion release:  Follow the blue print this season with denim pieces, touches of turquoise and indigo florals.  Dance through a field of flowers in the peasant-style dress as you let your style bloom this season.

This denim moto jacket was super comfy to wear all day like a layer not just a jacket.  It has good stretch in it and is a deep solid indigo.  I was in a sweater rut and just like the rest of us ready for something new and fresh.  When that afternoon sun hit I took it off and the long sleeve dress worked perfectly.

Come spring I’m always excited to pick up a few new spring dresses.  I love that this one is on a blue base and has long sleeves, which makes a nice addition to my wardrobe.  I’m REALLY excited adding this denim moto jacket too.  I’m about to layer like a mo fo!
