Wear and Share Wednesday is all about the spring dresses! With Easter this Sunday, and numerous Spring events, I always find myself needing a new spring dress. The thing with Spring is it can still be pretty chilly, especially in the morning, you know, like when Easter service is and brunch! So not only do we need a new spring dress, we need a functional way to wear it.
This is why I love a long sleeve dress! It gives you JUST enough to keep you warm in that spring breeze. Layer it with a longer spring jacket like a trench and you can combat those overcast days.
I’m loving this long sleeve dress from mark., the Floral Femme Printed Dress. Its a lightweight almost gauzy material so as the sun does warm up the afternoon you can push up the banded sleeves and bask in the warmth. Flowing, free-spirited and feminine, it’s the perfect peasant for springtime. Plus the pretty pastel mint base with a print in living coral, navy and white make this an excellent on trend design.
For spring events layer this dress with a navy and white trench, (Expresss; old). We are pulling that navy out of the print on the dress and pattern mixing with the nautical stripes. Work your topper to match your dress for an even more polished look especially for things like Easter, baby showers, wedding showers, etc. To keep the chill off even more I wore closed toe mules in white, (Express; old) and a spring scarf (Avon; old).
I styled this dress with a mint statement necklace and pearly accented bangles (Avon; old). This allows me to dress up a boho dress for my Spring events. Shimmery peach makeup finishes off the look in an appropriate, but also fun, way.
