What’s red and white and blue all over?  A patriotic Red White and Blue Week O’Nautical OOTD!  That kinda works right!?  Either way Week O’Nautical is sailing through this short work week as the long holiday weekend is so close I can taste it!

If you follow Emily Gemma of the Sweetest Thing Blog then you know she loves a good hat, ESPECIALLY a good Fiddler Baker Boy cap!  It was her post (see here) that had me smitten with this red and white striped hat last year.  I should of copy cat-ted her look there when Memorial Week O’Nautical was cold and rainy, but of course I thought about that after the fact.  So I decided in my head I’ll recreate this look for the 4th but now the summer heat is here and there’s no way I’m wearing jeans, but a denim button front dress I can do!  So I took her flow with the white tee and jeans and put my word on it with this Express Button Front Denim Mini Dress (now marked down to clearance!)

I love a little white dress (as seen here, here and here) and this one was a welcome addition to the LWD family.  The square neck and button front details are super on trend.  The denim material is a little easier to wear too not getting as dirty as quickly.  And white always feel perfect for summer and for Week O’Nautical.

We’ll be heading out to watch some fireworks tonight so I’ll easily switch into some slides and be good to go for a festive casual night out!  Do you have any early 4th festivities this year?  Or you saving it all for the long weekend!?
