On Wednesday’s we wear pink… or blush and burgundy because I’m not a huge fan of pink.  Please don’t revoke my girl card, haha.  I mean I like pink nail polish, pink lips, pink eye makeup but in fashion, decor or anything else, not my jam.  However I can get behind blush and burgundy, a more sophisticated take on pink.  With Valentine’s Day coming up I’ve been theme’ing out my life, making the winter more loveable.

Let’s be real, it’s still winter and it’s still cold, so romantic dresses might seem like a good idea but they’re not practical.  A blush sweater and ponte pants (WHBM) are extremely practical and absolutely work toward the Valentine’s Day theme.  This blush sweater has an adorable bow back which I didn’t capture but take my word for it, the added details are romantic.  This sweater is old but you can find a cozy blush sweater with romantic details to recreate the look.

Pairing burgundy with blush is a little unexpected but totally a winter winner pairing.  Just a pop of a burgundy suede pump and matte burgundy lip really pulls this look together.  #lipoftheday is the Avon True Color Perfectly Matte Lipstick in Wild Cherry.  This matte lipstick is one of my favorites because its not drying!  I can’t have anything drying in these dry cold winter months, so if I want a matte lip this is the way I go.

Like I said I’ve been Valentine’s Day-ing my life which included pulling out jewelry peices that I think fit in, like my rose gold options.  I picked up some new Valentine’s Day jewelry, had some adorable old pieces (like these heart hoops) and some other pieces that really just fit well in the theme.  To get some good use out of them, I put them out on a display jewelry stand so I can grab and go when getting ready in the mornings.  This rose gold set from 2019 holiday at Avon has been in heavy rotation.  As an alternative check out these rose gold and jet black options!

Wearing pink makeup has always been a favorite.  Maybe its the pink undertones in my skin but pinks are always flatteirng on me.  The Avon Send Roses Eye Palette really is my everything these days.  I did a monochromatic pink eye look and used the deep purple shade as my eyeliner.  I’m horrible at capturing the details but IRL it’s super pretty and dramatic but wearable!

No full look is finaly with out the finishing touches of fragrance.  For February this is my duo, Rose body cream from Bath and Body works with Avon Velvet.  I like having the travel size to throw in my bag and apply later if I’m running late or forget to put on perfume.  I mean there’s a reason why I made that New Year’s smell good resolution (see what I mean here).  Velvet is a fragrance that grew on me, now its one of my favorites and COMPLETELY out of my normal fragrance picks.  It also is the most long lasting scent I have, and even more so when I pair it with the dry oil right out of the shower.

I hope you’re feeling the love this February!  Try themeing out your days with all things romantic, roses, blush and burgundy!
