Hope you had an amazing long Labor Day weekend full of all things summer! Labor Day Weekend is the unofficial end of summer as we transition into all things fall. For my last summer hurrah we did try to maximize the extra day off and the weekend, which means I enjoyed my weekend and not necessarily spent time sharing things, so a recap post it is!

I kicked off the weekend with a fresh hairdo! I had my color touched up and my bangs trimmed which is always the BEST way to start a holiday. As a typical weekend we did run our normal errands and grabbed lunch and sat on some sunny patios and just enjoyed the slow life.

Outside of the normal weekend activities we also last minute decided to take a day trip to Monterey, CA. Our plan was to go to the aquarium but it was sold out. So we just palled around cannery row, got lunch and headed to the beach and tide pools for the rest of the sunny afternoon before driving back. The ocean is always so soul refreshing.

I would love to say I’m recharged and ready to go, but I’m dragging through this short week. At least I’ll have the NFL kickoff to jumpstart this weekend. Who else is in my same Week O’Nautical boat!?
